Our Story

Royal & LIT was founded on May 19, 2022, as a heartfelt tribute to our mother’s retirement after a distinguished career in education. Our very first marquee setup spelled out “RETIRED”—a simple yet powerful celebration of legacy and new beginnings.

Our name, Royal & LIT, is inspired by 1 Peter 2:9 (Easy Translation): “You are God’s chosen people. He has made you into a group of royal priests… so that you can show how great he is. He brought you out of the dark and into his great light.” This verse reflects both our faith and our mission—to bring light, creativity, and excellence to every event we touch.

What began as a personal celebration quickly grew. As images of our work began to spread on social media, we started receiving calls to design setups for various events and faith conferences. A defining moment came during IGNITING FAITH 22, when we received a prophetic word:

“I see you both taking off like a rocket.”

And take off we did.

Since then, Royal & LIT has grown in every way—serving countless events, expanding our team, and building meaningful relationships with clients and creatives alike. We love what we do and are truly grateful for every opportunity to serve with purpose and style.
